Better Business Bureau of Southern Arizona is warning consumers across the country about Goddess Within, which sells discounted beauty products online and claims to be headquartered in Tucson. According to complaints received by BBB, the company neglects to provide refunds for returned or undelivered products.
BBB has received 35 complaints from consumers across the country including one complaint from a service member overseas – nine of those were filed since January 2009 and 21 have been closed as unanswered. Consumers tell BBB that they have requested refunds for products that were either not delivered or that they had returned. Complaints have emanated from all over the country, including one complaint from a service member overseas.
BBB has not been able to verify the company’s actual physical location. The address they have listed in Tucson, 1830 E Broadway PMB124-207, is a UPS drop box, and their Website is privately registered in California. A call placed to the company to inquire about unanswered complaints and to confirm their physical location was not returned.
